Lufthansa Upgrades Long-Haul Aircraft Cabins and Service

Lufthansa have begun the process of upgrading the cabin design aboard all the long-haul aircraft of the fleet.

Combining state-of-the-art seat designs across all travel classes with powerful broadband internet connections, the upgrade process represents the largest retrofit programme in Lufthansa’s history.

The large-scale retrofit has represented a huge investment for the Lufthansa group – spending an average of €1m per day since 2011 on improving and upgrading the fleet’s cabins.

United Airlines Launch Dublin to Chicago Service

February 24, 2015

From June 2015, United Airlines will be offering daily non-stop services between Dublin and O’Hare International Airport in Chicago. Operating until 18 August (subject to government approval) Chicago O’Hare will become the third United hub served nonstop from Dublin following New York/Newark and Washington D.C./Dulles.
