- TAP classic – offering exceptional convenience as well as the ever sought after flexibility;
- TAP basic – a no frills, excellent value for money service and
- TAP discount – extremely low price, still fabulous service and extensive route choice.
These new fare products were established in response to the differing expectations and motivations of customers whose requirements can vary widely. The success of the strategy is based on variety, ranging from the best promotional prices to the best Business class service, now recently upgraded.
TAP executive and TAP plus brands were designed specifically for business travellers and those looking for greater quality service. Small and medium sized companies can also benefit from TAP Portugal`s partnership with PartnerPlusBenefit association, which offers many benefits including exclusive use of the Star Alliance partner member lounges in which travellers can relax and avail of the numerous facilities that often include free Wifi and luxurious surroundings. This loyalty incentive scheme has many rewards that include ticket upgrades, free flights, cashback or WorldShop products and can be used along with your personal frequent flyer programme to accrue points/miles.
Going from strength to strength, TAP Portugal was recognized by the World Travel Awards, in 2009 and 2010, receiving the World`s Leading Airline to South America award. Eco-awareness and responsibility also figure in TAP`s business plan. They were the first to launch, in worldwide partnership with IATA, the company`s Carbon Offset Program, which brought further honours bestowed by UNESCO and by the International Union of Geological Sciences with the IYPE ‘Planet Earth Award 2010′, in the category of ‘Most Innovative Sustainable Product’.
